About Visit Zimbabwe

How we choose places

Last updated 5 November 2026

Visit Zimbabwe lists places to stay, eat and visit across Zimbabwe, with the business’s own contact details so you can deal with them directly. This is how a place comes to be listed, and what a listing does and does not mean.

Details come from the business itself

We take a place’s name, address and contact details from the business’s own website. If it has no website, we use its own social media page, run by the business and active recently. For museums, monuments and national parks, we use the official body that runs them, such as National Museums and Monuments of Zimbabwe or Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife.

We do not copy details from booking or review websites. A phone number or email address appears only when the business publishes it itself.

What we look for

Where it is on the map

Each place is shown where it appears on Google Maps. For remote lodges and camps, confirm the route, the road and what to bring when you book.

What a listing does not mean

Listings are not paid for, and a listing is not an endorsement. We have not stayed at or visited every place, and prices, opening hours and availability are not covered here. Always confirm the details with the business before you travel. Any booking you make is between you and the business.

Photographs

We show a business’s own photographs only with its permission, credited to the photographer. Where we have none, the listing shows a credited photograph of the area, labelled with the area’s name; it is not a photograph of the business.

For businesses

If you run a place to stay, eat or visit in Zimbabwe, send your details with the List your business form. We read every submission and list places that meet the standards on this page.
